About

Hi, I’m Jimmy. I’m an audiobook narrator and voice talent. I came to this wonderful career mainly thanks to my military service. I was a “broadcast journalist” in the US Air Force – part radio DJ, part television producer. Think Good Morning Vietnam meets Anchorman.

My job was loads of fun, but it did have its serious times. I was stationed in quiet northern Japan when the 2011 earthquake and tsunami struck. I spent most of 2012 in Afghanistan. These experiences were scary at times, but I am grateful to have come through them in one piece with great friends and memories.

In 2013, I came home to Texas, and used the GI Bill to earn a BA in Communications at the University of Houston and an MBA at Rice University.

When I’m not working in the booth, I’m most likely playing or recording music, or spending time with my wonderful partner as we rehab our 180 year old home in beautiful midcoast Maine.
